Where To Go

Inhabited by diverse cultures, a Peru holiday offers a wealth of archaeological treasures. In the desert are the extraordinary lines etched by the Nazca people around 400 BC. Overlooking the town is Cerro Blanco (2,078m) the highest sand dune in the world, a great place for sandboarding and dune riding.


The dramatic mountains of the Cordillera Real make for an impressive back-drop to one of the most stunning lakes in the world, Lake Titicaca, sacred to the Aymara and Quecha people.



In the Peruvian Andes is the Inca capital of Cuzco, a stunning combination of ancient Inca and colonial Spanish influences.




No holiday to Peru is complete without a visit to the ancient citadel of the Incas - Machu Picchu, set amongst the stunning cloud forest, above the small town of Aguas Calientes.


Arequipa, known as the "White City" is a colonial gem and UNESCO World Heritage Site, lying beneath the shadow of the beautiful Misti Volcano. Arequipa is the starting point for a trip to the Colca Canyon, the reputed deepest canyon in the world.


Home to pre-Inca sites, Peru's northern coast is a treasure trove of archaeological wonders, museums and ancient cultures. The colonial city of Trujillo is an excellent base from which to explore Chan Chan, the largest adobe city in the world.




The immense Amazon Basin covers more than half of Peru and is home to the greatest diversity of plants and animals on the planet.



Peru caters for many special interests, including mountaineering, rock climbing, hiking, white-water rafting, surfing, fishing and ornithology amongst others.
